Is that a recent thing? As i was under the impression it was just the windscreen that had to be glass for the road.

Thank you for all the comments.
Its always nice to hear people appreciating the work that goes into every part of these cars
Anyways, one more update, after a discussion with Josh via text at about midnight for him, this is pretty much how the loom will go in.
The spare, untaped wires by the Spa plug are for the front and rear fog warning lights and an earth as they are needed, but there is no provision for these lights in the spa, other than that its all done.
Just waiting on the carbon to mount the Spa into

They are MOT Legal, but not technically road legal.
If you car is first used on or after 1/4/1985, it must have a specified safety glass (1980)glass complying with, and marked in accordance with either: BS 857:1967 as amended by Amendment Slips 1, 2, 3 and 4, or
BS AU 178:1980,
UN/ECE Regulation 43., for the Front Windows, including the windscreen. The rear windows can be Pplycarbonate, or Lexian, or any material which if fractured will not fly into sharp fragments likely to cause severe cuts if broken.
The exceptions are Police or security vehcles, and plant/farm vehices.
Ive had mine in for a few years now and never been pulled up on it

Right, we've been finishing off the last few bits and bobs on this job so we're ready to arrange getting the lot fitted into the car.
First thing was to modify the interior fusebox holder to mount the new fisebox into
Next up was the rather more exciting job of mounting the Spa into the standard instrument cluster.
First we cut the original cluster away and made a piece of carbon to insert
Then made a cut out in the carbon for the Spa
After that, once happy with everything we glued the carbon in and peeled off the tape.
We've still got the original 'glass' to fit once the glue is fully dried and the Spa is properly mounted, but I think you'll all agree if looks amazing.

Yep already got a shift light fitted,
Plus tbh if you listen to the engine / feel to the acceleration you know (as near as is really needed) when you should change gear anyway, plus with this engine it's got such good midrange I really don't need to rev towards the very top end to go quick
