injector dead times
hello, do anyone have dead times for saxo vt injectors (Magneti Marelli PICO fuel injector - IWP006) ? thank you.

They are pretty fast, about 0.5 mS at 14v.
What ECU are you using? On some, where you can switch between 360 and 720 sync, you can measure the dead time, at the prevailing voltage and fuel pressure of course.
You also need lambda working.

I am trying easy ecu now. need injector dead times at 7V and 16V and try to interpolate them lineary. or exacta values for 7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16V

16v?--car should never see more than 14 at most and really 13.5v you sure you are not meaning battery compensation voltage?

not familar with that software --but do not understand why you would have adjustments for voltage as low as 7v --
ask the supplier -
i would never expect voltage on car to drop below 10v even on cranking with low charged battery and no higher than 14 --unless you have problems with charge system
your injector supplier should also be able to give you the curve for the injectors you are running as well

If the graph you show is a default map --then just use it --all it will do if wrong is alter the duration the injector requires to give the lambda value you are setting in our target map
same as using a larger injector would drop the injection time for same lambda value.

'Dead time' is a normal term, it's also sometimes called 'latency'.
It isn't a linear relationship. Those values in your graph are too high, certainly at the higher voltages.
I suspect that the Pico injector may be slightly faster that the EV6 injector as fitted to the C2 and the dead time for the C2 injector is 3.0016 at 6.00v, 1.3344 at 10v, 0.8384 at 12v, 0.5632 at 14v and 0.4416 at 16v.
I'll do some more digging and see if I can find proper data for the Pico.
