Default exhaust

can any one tell me what i use on the exhaust ring 1.1
i have always used copper grease or should i be useing exhaust paste.
its where the cat joins the pipe with spring loaded bolts.

ive always just used silicone seems to seal quite well

You shouldn't be putting anything on the conical gasket, if you've took the exhaust off then really you should replace a new conical gasket so no exhaust leaks

Yep, new 46mm conical mesh gasket (Unless you've a saxsport or something, then you need the 50mm one) and don't put anything on it, especially silicon lol.

Copper slip is just for threads and nuts etc and the back of brake pads, not for sealing gases.
