I'd get an E36 Tourer or a Pissrat estate personally.

B5 Avant's don't really look amazing IMO, and you can get Passat's for dirt really...

In all seriousness from what I can find is the Audi boot space is 390 Litres and the BMW is 430 Litres! So not much in it tbf!

There is indeed very very little in it load space wise, and I hadn't considered a passat, so that is another potential.

Indeed. My old Octavia hatch was a tardis. The Estate is obviously bigger!

I've got my eye on a few A6 estates at the moment. Really fancy something I can use for work as well as shows, and be big enough to take the family and dog out in!
