Not updated this in a while got some progress to show just been tidying hints up really.
Got some vtr wheels for a straight swap
Here's a quick picture, you will have to excuse the filth!
Ive fitted a few things I forgot to take pics of, such as new top engine mount, VTR Gear knob, new cam cover as mine was looking crap and leaking, and a facelift rear wiper.
So i sprayed my rear badges black, think it looks much smarter and plus they were looking rather tired anyway:
Primer
Fitted
Also sprayed my wiper arms that day as they were looking tired and a bit rusty, and fitted new blades
Then today I took advantage of Halfords Buy One Get One Free on BOSCH bulbs and got these two for £22.99
And fitting, not sure you can tell the difference in the pics but they are much brighter and whiter, I will have to get a night time shot later.
Before:
During:
After:
And just a random clean picture

What they said but MK1 spoiler not the 2! And definitely lowered 40mm with black wheels will look ace.

Good to see someone going for all the right mods, keep it tidy! Cant help but think white VTR wheels would suit this nicely

Really can't make my mind up about changing wheel colour either :/ as I said I want to try and keep it looking tidy. Anyone know of any sprigs for sale? I can't get on the classifieds area yet (dont have enough posts) as soon as I get some sprigs Ill get it lowered, does anyone use the 'click' method for lowering the torsion bar? If so how many clicks will give me around a 40mm drop? Pics would be great

lowering 40mm isnt a big drop and will still look subtle.
the MK2 spoiler is smaller and less in your face, which would help if you want to give it a cleaner, "unmolested" look

decised to find where the leak I had was coming from, i assumed the sunroof so strip out the roofing and sunroof etc to find the problem and it didn't take long .....
Citroën stupidly decided not to put the drainage hole right in the bottom of the corners and so water collects then this happens.
Drivers side:
Passengers side:
So gave it a rub down, applied sealant and underseal, no finished pics but here's a couple of the sealant to give you an idea
And while it was all out decided to do my roof lining black and have all the trim a thorugh cleaning

Fitted
Looks 10x better IMO and the best part is NO MORE WATER!

How easy was it to remove and re-fit the headliner? And what did you use to get it black? Been thinking about doing this to mine. Cheers

Really Easy mate, just unscrew the visors, handles, the centre bit with the lights, sunroof winder etc, pull pillars back (may have to undo seatbelts, but thats no bother) and pull down door seal and rear window seals, then I just pulled it slowly so not to bend it then take it out through the boot. You will need torx bits, T5, T10 & 20 irrc and a 17mm socket for the seat belts

nice! I had the same seats in my westie, and did the same as you and got them replaced. I went for the Cirrus VTS interior, but it's a nice jump up in comfort
