The 1.4s are lighter than the vtr's as they are made from alloy and not cast iron, i can imagine the vts is a little more heavy than the vtr

Try the track times vs as your engines are first then go from there.

ok so i have now swaped out the 1.4 for a nice health 1.6 8v and befor you all say " should have 16v " i got the emgine for free aswell as it being a lil comp between me and my cousin

its pretty standard apart from 306 xsi injectors ( or so i have been told but they are blue ? )
im also going to sell my supersprint mani to start saving for the boost

will get picsone day but you cant realy tell the dif in the engines lol

then cleaned it and got it looking like this again :Y;

just to wake up and find this

i hate this wether
now starting to get ready for boost
comments welcome :Y: good or bad

id of thought absolute minimum would be 5th injector so its fueling right for that length of time

I wouldnt risk it to be honest youll either be underfueling (most likely i think) or overfueling both end in bye bye to your engine although in different ways,

Iv got a few links to some info on turboing as i want to do this to my VTR 106 soon - I have no experience to do with Turboing cars so some things may not be completely accurate...

but heres some links iv read though:

http://www.saxperience.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=429993

http://205gtidrivers.com/articles/e2-5thinjector.html

Hope this helps ya

been a while since i have done an update ( no monies ) but heres whats happend so far....

i bought a dastek unichip q that has been maped to a vtr same year with breathing mods and exaust ( similar to mine )

it pulls alot better feels nice and conservitive untill 4k revs then pulls like a train

i also have the wireing diagram ( drawings ) if needed by anyone :Y:
as i know these are insanely hard to get hold of

i then began to take a few bits off to save wieght
i did just take the back seats and spare wheel off to start with then got carried away

glad i did as i found this

so thats now being treated

didnt have the heart to get rid of the sub so is now strapped in in a centeral position and ads a nice bit of wieght to the back :Y:

FROM THIS ..

TO THIS ...

than added the comfey clean seats

i also bouught this

sits realy straight and was only £50

then gave the car a needed clean lol

thats all for now

all comments welcome good or bad

Looks sweet, wish I had the time/money to turbo my vtr and for it to be reliable.
