Update
Turns out my big ends have had it so I bought a new engine this morning from ebay. 78K from a 2002 vts including gearbox etc so not too bad. Have also bought a new cambelt and water pump + a new clutch to go on the new engine.
Hopefully will all be sorted by the end of next week.
Might give it a wash this weekend and take a few pics of how the car looks at the moment.

Sticking with the vts box for now. I did have a look on ebay for an s1 rallye box but couldnt find anything, plus its just more money to spend that I dont really have tbh. I'm lucky my parents are paying for everything at the moment and then im paying them back when I can.
sorted your 205 engine out yet?

Not yet, I'm picking up an engine next weekend but it's coming with a gearbox I don't need...
Im unsure of the ratios though, it's a 205 xs box.. I'm hoping it's a tight ratio box like the 106 xsi so I can sell it on.

Me too, hence why ive ignored him lol. Would be good to delete comments i reckon.
As for updates yes theres been a few, fitted some new sprayed mirrors the other day. Only thing is was that they were manual so i had to take all electric system and wires out of my old mirrors and fit them into the manual mirrors housing. Was actually quite simple but just a hassle really.
Will try get some new pictures up asap as I havn't really updated this since i had the engine work done.
