Thats what I meant mate, last time I saw it had the tinted lights, I meant I prefer the standard ones on it rather than the tinted ones

Streamline carbon mate, it's not cheap - great quality
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Yesterday I did a rolling road day @ Dynodaze for PFC. Very pleased with the results - first NA Saxo / 106 over 200bhp on there rollers, gave us a good idea of where we are at the moment
Tomorrow morning I'm off back down to Sandys to try and map the top end now I have the Walboro intank fuel pump installed. Fingers crossed
I'll update this thread properly after unveiling it @ TRAX

Don't know why the charged cars wouldn't win. But at least this will be screaming its tits off during lol.
Should be worth the time and money in the end

Cracking results Josh!! Looking forward to seeing sandy squeeze sone more power out of it now the pump has been fitted!!
Understand you probably don't want to list the spec.... But has it got standard or oversized valves? And standard or oversized pistons?

Thanks Lewis.
Pump is in and solved the fuelling problem. It felt much stronger with that done and even before raising the 8k rev limit it was making about 8-10bhp more at the wheels in our rollers at 7500rpm with the right fuelling. Raised the limit as far as I'm prepared to take it (for longevity) and it still head butts the limiter. It feels truly epic now, blatantly more grunt than the chassis can handle in the lower gears and I'm very pleased with it.
It's on a standard 1.6 crank (without any of the worrying counterweight removal I've seen some people doing!) and overbored with slightly oversize valves, but still on original inserts which tells you they aren't as big as some people are using! I'm not going to be specific about dimensions I'm afraid, I don't want to fill in the missing pieces for my competitors. It's a package I've evolved over several years and I'm quite protective of the details

Not really, I'm building a full race development F4R with a friend of mine currently (Nick at Pure Motorsport), but it's such a pain in the arse engine beyond fast road spec, I'm not sure if I'll do any more!

Should think ekking more power out the f4r is quite a challenge isnt it sandy??
Cant see you nearly doubling the power on one of them like you mangage so well on the good old j4

Double JP4 maybe, but not quite J4! F4R is a shame really, lets down an otherwise good car. Probably shouldn't start a debate on Josh's thread, but the EW in the 206 is a vastly better engine on just about every level for race use.

Many thanks for The reply regarding the valves / pistons sandy! Very interesting! Congrats to you and Josh for an epic build! Also interesting to see it pick up so quickly witha standard crankshaft, I agree that some pictures of 'lightened' tu crankshafts do look very much butchered!!
Looking forward to seeing / hearing this at some point Josh!!
