Default Single Wiper Conversion - Problem

Finally got around to do this today amongst a few other jobs, everything fitted together fine but the only problem was the blade doesnt sit flush against the window. The top of the blade is fine, the middle misses the window and the bottom just catches the arm but still makes contact with the window.

Its almost as if the arm needs to be bent more but can only go so far until it catches on the bonnet.

Ended up using one of the standard arms on the new kit which works fine but obviously not what I want.

Anybody else had the same problem or think of an alternative? I can get photos tomorrow if it helps?

I got a storm kit. It came with a nice flat faced blade but after fitting I found that it was catching on the bonnet so I ended up using my original wiper. You can how ever I believe cut away at some of the bonnet where it catches. This is my intention as I wanna order a clip on storm washer jet from Demon and then remove the ones from my bonnet and wrap in carbon

i've heard thats quite common. you can trim the bonnet so it doesn't catch
