Do you keep your iPod in a case?
I have recently bought myself an iPod touch. When I bought it I kept it in a sock until I bought a silicone case for it. However a) the case annoys me and b) the back has a number of scuff marks even though it was it the case.
I don't know whether to bother getting a new or just leave it. Does anybody else bother with a case? If so what one?
Thanks

Yeahh, all the iPod's I've had, 5th generation, 3g nano and 3g touch have the metal back. Stupid as it gets scratched by simply being in a case. Given up with my 3g nano and don't bother with a case for it anymore.

Did it get rid of the scratches? Do you keep yours in a case? And what iPod have you got?

Ipod Classic... Been in my glovebox for the last year or so... so you can probably imagine the state on it... Gets rid of some of the big scratchess will probably get rid of them off if you spend enough time on it... got rid of all the light scratches though.

My nano's back is full of scratches, gave up with the case after a year. Makes the ipod so much bigger and looks no where near as nice.

Best way is to use a kitchen sponge to give a brushed steel effect like this guide shows
http://members.optusnet.com.au/brushedipod/
just click next and it takes you through it, it wont get rid of the wrting on the metal as its etched quite deep, i do it to mine and looks great, as for the front just buy a screen protector
