Pre show prep
What do people use before a show such as FCS?
Obviously you do your full detail the day before (if you can be arsed) but in regards to once you are there and removing dirt you may have picked up on the drive there? Break dust, bugs etc..

I usually just make sure I shower before going, put tidy clothes on and spray deodorant.

Quick detailer, and if your a wheels are sealed properly a wipe over with a microfibre will take all the brake dust away.

Quick detailer all over, window cleaner and bumper/tyre black. About it really. I've seen people wash their car's when they're on the stand but thats ott imo for a Saxo lol

I go flat out, with qd' gear spend a good hr at the start of a show cleaning and tidying after a trip. Save yourself some hassle and apply tyre shine at the show as apposed to before or make sure you wipe excess off.
Full blown wash at a show just screams cunt. Washing is obviously better than qd but if you do a proper job the day before you'd not pick up enough shit to cause any problems for qd unless it rains and you end up with actual dirt on your car.

I normally turn up with it covered in flies and reeking of brakes
