Default Front suspension kit help

My rear axle is lowered 40mm but I don't know how low the lowering springs are on the front, they were already on the car when I bought it and I want to buy a new suspension kit with dampers but not sure how low to go. I'm definitely buying the apex suspension kit but if my rear axle is lowered 40mm do I need to get the 35mm lower suspension kit or 50mm lower suspension kit for front???

thoughts please...

I dont know if anyone can see pictures ive tried to upload but i cant!!!
I've tried image shack which says failed to upload file everytime and ive now downloaded skypath which downloaded the pics i pasted URL n posted and nothing....grrr

Anyway im guessing i will need the 50mm lower apex suspension kit as my rear is lowered 40mm, is it ok to be 10mm lower at the front?

I've been told vtr's have quite a sporty shock standard and i will be ok with lowering springs. Is this true or will it damage the car over time as roads are terrible up my ends???
