Default fresh paint holograms

just had the front of my car resprayed, bonnet, front wing and front bumper. looks amazing until it gets under hi lighting its got horrific swirls and holograms. can you reccomend some products to remove the holograms and swirls by hand? is that possible? nothing with fillers or wax because the paintwork needs time to gas off before sealing. thanks

Why he paid for a respray, he got what he paid for. No respray on earth comes with paint correction. Even as how class finish like mine is in for at the min will need correction for dirt knibs. This will all be done in the booth it's painted in using a rotary buffer and a lambs wool mit and 1500 paper then to a 3000 paper followed by various compounds to get the gloss and shine I want.
My guess is the shop that did yours used a old buffing head and prob a course universal compound followed by a finish compound.

You can correct it by working your way back through compounds to slowly remove the swirls then glaze then polish and wax then look after your paint by washing it correctly.

It's surprising for saying they specialize in paintwork...resprays and repairs..but don't know how to look after the finish after the respray.
was looking round vauxhall at some new cars and their paint work have swirls all over their brand new cars...I guess its the way they get washed though.

would be taking it back where you had it done and getting them to re do it. It is bad techniques done that causes scratches, swirls and holograms. You can simply get a Dual-Action & Rotary Polisher. Simple to use and will get rid of your problems you got here. I would sure first get them to correct it then go out and get a machine to do and keep in tip top shape in the future.

Bit late,

Polish is never a finisher. Polish "plugs" all the small swirls etc
Then you need to seal the polish using wax.

Polish THEN wax always

Hope not all paint 2k or hs water based needs 6-8 weeks at 10-15 degrees to cure fully after being baked and any remaining solvents or transfer fluids to evaporate.
