Default New key and fob price...

I've been quoted by a local car locksmith £125 (if I go to their head office) to have a new key cut and a fob programmed.

When I bought the car it came with one key and no fob so I've always had to put the key in the lock.

Does anyone know if this is a good price for a second key with fob?....bearing in mind I don't have the card either with the code on it for programming which I think you're supposed to have...

What do you mean? You wouldn't use a car locksmith to program a fob for you?

Same happened to me with my Saxo.

Timpsons are £40 now and guaranteed for life. I use my Timpsons key for everyday use and the original is kept at home just in case.
I need to fit a Hawk or similar to get the doors to unlock remotely though.
