haha couldnt accuse me of spamming then.
We have an official pics thread on shed. Im writing a report when i get time im going to send to the mags. I shall send copies of yours and my pics with it along with both names so if we can get a feature on it and your name mentioned in the mag are you happy with that mate??
the raceland with the green filter seems highly rated as almost the same design of the green and uses its same filter

Induction, I'm open (pun). I don't want a BMC after some not so impressive figures/reviews. I really fancy a cotton panel filter, but that intake ducting needs a SERIOUS fiddle first. The pressure drop along that will be horrendous... I'm expecting good gains just from sorting that out more so than actual filter change. And I think that might explain why so many claim an open induction makes the car more responsive... not the filter itself but probably because it only has a single bend in the intake before the TB...
Do people rate the Raceland-Green Enclosed then??
which thread my darling?

This is Harvey btw with the yellow GTI.
I was led to believe that the additional pipework on the standard airbox is some sort of resonance box to still the air.
My green filter for my Raceland arrived today so I'll be fitting that next week, I'm not expecting much tbh except better throttle response but I can let you know the outcome if you want.

I've sorted it a bit better, the 1st post contains a complete timeline so you don't have to sift through pages just to find each update I don't believe the results for a second... 136.9hp from a completely standard engine with 75k, as if, but it's good for impressing slags y0

is there ever a time on this forum when lee isnt trying to start an argument for no apparent reason? I also have a stupid name for you xx
As said previously the magnex seems very nice, and doesnt sound cheap and shit like most of the other now common systems.

im surprised.
not going to try and get personal information about me to post all over the internet now?
Sayer is a mate, me and him joke about the car and whats fitted to it. A few of us discussed at the weekend the car and how he should use a magnex center pipe rather than cutting up the standard center box.
