I know what you mean... since friday I haven't taken the car past 4k. haven't revved or even accelerated faster than a 1.1... sucks BIG TIME... it'll get changed up with Manic, just means that the condition is ok so I can get it too Boldon without pooping my pants too much

Ads, if you're putting in new cams, then it's definitely worth changing. I think I've gone though 3 new belts already... But otherwise, if it's in fine shape, there's no point.

3 belts.. crickey... your's is on about 14k miles or something daft as well
With the old cars they were changed every 4 years or 50k miles... this one I foolishly just went on what I was told, it's not Marks (previous owner) fault tbh he believed it had been done by the previous owner at 45k miles... anyway, I'm not worrying too much, it's only got around 400 miles to do before it goes in so happy days

Yeah, nothing to worry about. Remember, it's not the mileage which is important, it's the condition of the belt! If it's sound, it's sound!
Nah, 68k now fella.
I had a close call a little while back where one of the screws which holds the timing belt casing to the head came out, and caught in between the top of the casing and the belt! Came so close to tearing. So lucky I found it...

you want to sell me it? You going to be sticking an ATB in there?
You planning on getting it on track this year Mr Sayer?
