Thank you peeps
r.e. the ECU Andy has been busy over the last four weeks with my car putting the 3-plug jigsaw puzzle together. He had the car idling on it no problem a couple of weeks ago now, since then the car has ran somewhere between 50-100 miles on the Predator.
Then today I actually saw it start up with it Andy hooked the laptop to it and we were able to see every sensor that the ECU was reading from and what data it was pulling in.
Andy had the radiator cooling fan set to 20oC so I could see it kick in a minute after the engine had started. Then set it to 90oC, and it just switch off the fan in an instant (was was less than 90oC obv.) then he showed me how the mapping procedure works. And set whatever idle we/saxo liked... all from the laptop. I'm dubious about most things usually, but this is seriously impressive lads...
He even, very kindly, offered to let me drive with the Predator running... but I politely declined as time was a little short and as I'm going back there next week to check the coolant temp works I figure we might as well try it properly then - even though Andy has already put down some good mileage in it already.
watch this space!

Still got this to do:
Fit the 4-2-1 Raceland
Fit the 266mm Setup
Fit the EZR Painted VTS wheels
Fit lowering kit.
It needs:
Tidy up of paint work
Wide mouth
smoked rears
smoked morettes (lower coded)

I saw your vts when I went to try out the single plug predator - you going for a predator? I'm going to be going for one with throttle bodies, and innovate wideband!!
I drove the single plug with a base map on it and it ran very well tbh with just a bog standard base map on it!
It's an impressive piece of kit ! You have to drive your car with it plugged in - when you look inside the ECU it's amazing to think that it controls your car's engine!

Looks good mate,
could you post up pics and feedback of the apex suspension once you got it fitted, just thinking of what set to get for my S in the future, just need some unbiased feedback and some pics of how it sits -35mm.

Hopefully mate, I intend to get uprated cams in by the end of august, I haven't said no to TB's but it's unlikely really as the noise would just naff me off after a while.
I saw the donkey ecu and the components that make up an engine controller and it's just daft! tiny little IC's that can do just about everything... there's a weight saving idea just there for people!

James, that's no problem mate. I don't really want to lower my car, it handles fine as it is, only doing it because it'll look better. It'll be fitted end of the month or early next month

well observed Sherlock... no my GF took the picture (genuinely) on my phone... As I was in a McRags Carpark at the time doing donuts...
actually we were coming back from Devon today
Battery light? My alternator is a gay... flashing intermittently, sometimes solid, a 1/2 second blip on the throttle sometimes clears it (can't do my mpg any good )
Needs replacing soon... once I find a second hand one
