how many revs at idle? and where does your temp guage sit?
Changing my dials about. how many revs at idle is it supposed to run at? atm mines on the 750 revs line, is this about right?
and also, wheres the temp gauge supposed to sit at when you first turn the car on for a cold engine? mines just sitting on the bottom of the scale, is this right?

sounds about right to me, idle should be 750rpm but anything under 1000 is fine usually, and temp gauage sits below the mark when its cold

850rpm, temp is correct. The gauge only reads working temperatures. Ie it's scale does not start at zero degrees it's probably at about 50 degrees or somewhere like that at the bottom of the scale..
