ive got my ipod connected to my car stereo throught the usb cable but when its on i seem to be getting sort of like a bad reception and it makes its crackley and seems to get quieter.
any1 heard of this one before.
could it be anything to do with my sub or 6x9s.

make sure the usb has a good connection and also the that the wire is in good connection with the HU, sound like it not making a good connection somewhere along the line!

Well to be honest mate, your never gonna get a good quality sound from an ipod, especially when its through a usb port!!

But at the same time, it should be crackling with intereference.

Its probably due to a bad earth on one, or both of your amps mate, and the ipod is just amplifying this sound. Also, make sure you use a good thick power and earth cable for the amps.
