Default No fault Accident is this a total wright off?

So what a fucking start to the weekend. Got new car less than 3 weeks ago to get tuned up looking nice and had this happen today from a wagon slamming into side and dragging car up the road.

Will this be a total wright off due to the damage and pillar also being crunched in too or is this salvageable?

It will depend, on the value of the car and the cost of the repairs!

Well value of car ranging from 1200 to 1800 upwards depending on miles covered. Cost of repairs I nadda idea on cost but guessing to finding colour match 2 doors side pannel new locking mech n if shassy is bent then game over. Will have wait for em to see what report says.

Start looking for new cars dude, that would be a write off with just a pumped door and wing.

Get the decision and offer back on Wednesday. But yeah looking for another car now as more think into it n looking at cost wise not worth the time money and effort in taking back then fixing. Maybe buy back strip down for parts etc n scrap rest. Shame and a bad start to next project that it was going to be. On hunt for another.

But also thinking more of just ticking turbo in vts saxo I just un sorned n put back on road as had stored n lucky didn't sell to a guy on here that pmed me about it. So is a positive that got car to drive still at least. Can only wait and see what happens now n what offer I get. Already had offer from 3rd party that exceeds what I paid for car but need to make sure it exceeds with all fees too

My VTR got written off for a creased wing. Bought it back and put a wing on it and fixed. They'll take one look at that and crush it

I had a not as bad but similar impact on a previous 106. It wasn't written off because it was fairly new and low miles, but total repairs bill went up to £2.200

Yours being a lexus, won't be any cheaper I'm afraid.

Well al lcan do is wait for the report back mid week and see what the cost is if repairable or not. Think due to damage on pillars and 118k on clock think will take one look give valuation on it n give price wright off seems few people spoke to said same thing wright off but maybe buy back.

Think just gonna look for another.

Yeah, I think you should. Side note, the other cunt made a right job of it indeed, hope you get it sorted without too much hassle.

Well nice update got cover car on its way to be paid by 3rd party side at £130 a week. Have got full liability admitted from 3rd party so things moving along nice. Been told by case worker on it will get highest value for the is200 and seen some around same mileage condition color etc for 2200 would be nice if I can get that for it. As paid out 800 for car n stands me back with travel Terraclean etc about 1100 so if it does get highest value to it then quids in. Thx guys for feedback on it n support. Just maybe might able get one same price as did before and then get a nice phat turbo on it with the extra cash.

And the results are in.

Cat B total loss wright-off now 5 to 7 more days and to be given valuation and payout.

You guys think should stick to me guns. Another is200 sport or maybe something different. I do like the is200 sport and maybe consider an altezza or hmm not decided on others but meh least got time to think what am gonna do in terms of another car now liability fully admitted by 3rd part
