Default Cluster light problem

So it is a phase 1 vtr from 99 1.6. I first had the issue in the light of the heater panel so i tought it was a broken LED. But nks the problem alao moves to my cluster.

They're just shit LED's

Mine used to do this all the time, some of the LED's do it, others don't and it's totally random. Nothing to do with the wiring of the car

Well i was not sure if it was a LED problem. If one or 2 LED's have that problem than okay, but if everything has the same problem i doubt that i have a defect LED.

Do they look like this?

If they are these, then it's the LED's. I had EXACTLY the same issue as you. I watched your video. The leds flicker at random, I had about 50% of mine fail straight away.

Comming back to this subject, recently changed my leds with simpler leds, not even used them for a week and it starts flickering again, tested al leds individually and all were fine and bright. even the center console led is doing the same like before.

i ordered old lights from internet again, the ones that are halogen. I still think it has to do something with grounding the odometer

It's an odd situation.

Mine used to flicker a little bit as well but it was always the LED's at fault.

Who knows, another one of life's unsolved mysteries! haha
