Default VTR fuel pressure regulator

I am fitting a Mk2 VTR engine into my AX which I use for car trials. I want to fit the fuel pressure regulator under the bonnet, & use the standard AX fuel feed & return pipes. Can anyone help to identify the 3 pipes connected to the regulator? I've tried to add a photo but can't figure out how to do it. I've looked at the normal installation of the regulator under the back seat of another VTR, but can't figure out where all the pipes go because they disappear under the bodywork. If anyone can help maybe it would be best to describe the pipes as in the standard installation. Thanks.

sounds like a later 3 plug type engine with the returnless fuel rail, best bet with the ax fuel pipes is to swap to an earlier fuel rail that has the pressure regulator on it.
