Default steering squeak

i have a sqeaky steering wheel when i turn.i have had the steering wheel off
and sprayed and oiled it but it still queak,s.
as anyone solved this problem ,without turning the radio up.

Have you oiled down the column itself? and at the u Joints?

It's definitely coming from the column? i've had squeaks from mine in the past and it was the strut top bearings. hard to pinpoint when I was driving though so just left it

Default squeaky update

i thought it was the wheel ,twice i took the steering wheel off and tried to oil it.
It turned out to be the universal joint down near the pedal,s.
a bit of spray and the squeak is gone.
