Not sure how many folk on here are motorsport followers, but you may or may not have heard about the incident at Donington Park at the weekend during his race, where he was involved in a horrific crash.

As a result of the injuries sustained in the crash, sadly, Billy has had to have both his legs amputated.
A justgiving page was set up with a view to raising £260k to put towards helping this young man through what is going to be a quite horrendous period of his life and help him deal with what are undeniably life changing injuries.
The motorsport community as a whole have pulled together in quite astonishing fashion and the initial target was met within hours as folk dug deep to give what they can - the total now sits at a quite astonishing £486k and looks set to top the half million mark before the day is out. Its truly amazing to see the positive difference people can make in situations like this.
