j4/jp4 valve size to big would require bigger cut outs think it would bolt on though but the way I am getting it done is the easiest way within reason

Right well all things being well this weekend will see the completion of interior related matters, manifold and exhaust should also be done. After that just a case of changing struts over and fitting the brakes.

But small boost update just sorting new cambelt covers for the new engine, also have manifold and charger pretty much sorted for that aswell. Just remidial stuff after like 8v coilpack, suitable leads and usual odds and ends in theory new engine should be in for april

Difference on this compared to 4-1 and magnex? Not much if I am honest goes just as good it was previously. Now all I need to do is get standard front struts fitted, 4 pots fitted, 22mm front arb then thats it done until more money comes in to sort the new engine bits.

Will get interior done next weekend as it started to rain once part way through finishing the above, just to note got myself another set of axle stands to do a proper wheels off wash under the arches and few more tools as few spanners have gone walkies

Righty so this saturday sees new struts being fitted along with brakes finally then thats it for now, got a few more things on way :

22mm front arb which I will fit with the new drop links
diesel rad and header tank, new lower rad hose and rear bleed hose
Free Bilstein B6s
New induction kit, associated piping etc

struts got done the other day but few things to do before 4pots go on but they should on the car on weekend. The arb and free billies will be fitted as and when they come, other than that running gear is pretty much how I want it now.

Also got this to run the induction kit I am going to fit, only reason I changed to this from the predator is because locally there is someone I know who maps them well and will do it at a good price to me.

took about 2 hours to fit with other mates wasn't that bad as we was taking another disc beam off. Cheer bud should have some more interesting stuff for yous to read soon.

LOL Ad, right chore today! one bolt is like a 3/8th size random just need to get 2 bolts off and turbo is sorted

Updates!! right new front arb is coming next week so that with drop links be done, also the free bilstein b8s will be fitted once I've sorted some springs in a few weeks.

But engine wise it is dieing a slow and unceremonious death valve stems going and something else, so parts for the 1.4 16v are being acquired so that can be fitted asap

fuck me ive missed loads of progress on this gav!!!, im thinking of getting a loan to cover all the costs of my loose ends, few bills are getting the better of the build and ruining my chances of moving forward!! but you car is flying along now mate, why cant i see any of the recent pics though?

Going to leave them that colour mate cba painting them pink tbh! what you need to think about is take a loan out to get your nitty gritty done can you afford to pay out every month on the loan aswell as do your usual stuff?

well im paying one any way so was thinking of exteneding it for the same monthly payment as its nearly finished (well 12 payments or a chunk upfront) so i figure once the car is done... the sooner the better, the sooner i can pay off my debts lmao, had a good think and to me this seems the best option, as im losing money left and right to the car but have to account for bills.... so cant put my all or even commit alot each month, it it gets finished i know where i stand each month.... and can then fuck the loan off with whats left?... the choices lmao

Well here are the rear billies, also got some gti wishbone braces to fit to but as in previous posts these will be fitted when the fronts arive along with the arb
