i have a 1.1 spree and was wondering what sort of top speed people have gotten out of them? ive hit about 101mph but have'nt been on the motorway yet!

Pointless thread tbh, and you will probably get slated for saying you did 101mph (assuming you were on public roads)
The clocks are never accurate at them sort of speeds anyway so you can never really tell unless done by a dyno test.

Glad your not doing those speeds on the motorway as it would be illegal and very stooped. Most I have had out of a 1.1 is just over 160mph and that put the shits up me (not saxo )

Really not worth it (a) on public roads and (b) in a 1.1 Saxo.
Leave it for the track/airstrip and when you have a more suitable car buddy.

not that i speed or anything... i have had it on the m6/m56 at about 3am when it was dead to get anything fast!
