Apologies fir the lack of updates, had two weeks off for a holiday and concentrating on work, but have now made some progress over the last few evenings, including:
Turbo built (t25 from Rover coupe 220 turbo)
Oil feed adaptor and oil lines sorted
Intercooler sourced
Intercooler pipework test fitted
Blow off valve installed and plumbed in
Shorter renault 5 oil filter to allow clearance for turbo/downpipe
Exhaust downpipe made from thick sheet steel (a very clever mate did this for me and it came out very well, thanks to him!)
Radiator moved forward 2 inches to allow for turbo
My only slight issue at the moment is that the turbod oil drain sits very low. Its still high enough formthe oil to flow downwards with gravity to the sump, but almost levels out when it reaches the sump. Fingers crossed i dont have problems with this.
Next weekend i will install the intercooler and rad one final time properly. Then its just a case of buildng the exhaust system and starting the car upmto check for leaks.
Then it will be time t choose a management system, fit wideband, gauges etc etc etc. all the electrical stuff i dont like!
