Sunroof more than likely bud, the drains block and rot out then fill the car up. Put tape around the seams for a temp repair as its off the road

Ah right, didn't even think about the sunroof. Good call. I guess the interior is coming out then so I can keep it dry then see about sorting the sunroof drains.

Cheers everyone! Hoping to get the file back soon so I can get the ECU on and see if I can get it to do anything. Who's had an immobiliser delete done?

Well, it’s been 4 years and I’ve finally decided to get amongst it. It’s literally been sat looking at me on the drive and I’ve done nothing with it. So, with all this lockdown going on and I’m still working, I decided today would be as good a day as any to put the ECU on and a battery to see if it would start, it didn’t. So the battery is back off and I’ll wait for another day to get on. I think I’m going to strip it down and use it as a track toy, but I best get it running first

Yas, get tore in. I wouldnt evrn bother stripping it for track, just get new tyres, oil, and brakes on and hit a track day. Youve much more chance of ever enjoying the car and itll be way less expensive than a track car project which will spiral in budget: they always do!

I was just thinking stripping the interior out for a bit of weight reduction. Nothing too crazy. Teesside Autodrome isn’t far from me so would be ideal for there

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
