Haha, I remember you.

I don't understand why facebook groups got so big: theyre good for showing a quick picture of your car, but for knowledge or advice theyre fucking ROTTEN; wrong advice everywhere, no ability to search, the same questions asked repeatedly with no ability to have an FAQ section.

Saxo Sports Club is dead, long live Saxo Sports Club!

Your name rings a bell sir!

I feel the same. The Facebook owners pages aren’t great at all in my opinion. Suppose it’s only because, of the fact that the cars have always been aimed at the younger generation and now that is all they have to go on. I personally miss the days sat on forums untill they early hours of the morning... got slated from puller to post half the time however, the knowledge was always there to help you out when you needed it.

Is there any other way to post photos on here nowadays with anything other than Photobucket?

if its a question you've not heard its a fucking spastic one like
"my VTR is running on a 1.4 ecu with a 1.1 loom and a s1 Rallye inlet, why is it not running right? Apart from the ecu, loom, manifold."

or

"I have a VTR head and a jp4 bottom end can I bolt them together it must be better to mix and match engine bits than one out the factory because its newer and the 16v must be gooder"

HAHAHAHA I saw the EXACT posts you're referring to.

Luckily forums seem to be "too complicated" for people like that.

I’ll need to make a wee thread up with the cars I’ve had since the forum days.

I know exactly what you guys mean with Facebook. At least on forums there were pinned theads with common questions etc. Instead of asking the same things every second day.

Genuine question though. Has anybody ever brought a car over the channel before?
I am wanting to look into maybe bringing something over from France or nearby. Proper 16v LHD Cup or VTS. Prices range anywhere from 1200-10,000 euros. Just not entirely sure if it would be a case of getting there...insure the car... drive home... deal with relevant paperwork?
