hi would i be able 2 change my 2000 spi saxo 1.0l and replace the spi 2 a mpi if i can what do i need thanx rob

if ur guna do that much work, do an engine transplant to a 1.0/1.1 mpi, but if ur guna do that much work, y not go the whole hog and do a 1.6 transplant?

if i had the money id put a vts engine in my saxo tbh, but why do you need to change it for ? (turbo 1.1) ?

i was gonner make it a 1.0 turbo with the standard engine in so the numbers are the same for the log book and for an mot. will changing the ecu and wiring loom form mine to a 1.1 mpi one work thanx rob

you'd probably need an ECU too i'd imagine
edit: im a retard! lol.
you'd also need pretty much the whole inlet manifold, injectors etc etc. wouldn't be able to tell you

For the amount of work, what difference does it make what it says on the logbook? You'll still be buggered with an insurance hike so might as well go for a unit (VTR/S) that will be more reliable
