Default best way to clean a cylinder head

Hi guys, wondering whats the best way to clean a cylinder head, workmen got sawdust all over the place and has landed in the replacement cylinderhead.. so just needing to give it a clean but unsure whats the best product to use that wont cause rust issues etc.

the heads alloy so ive used a pressure washer in the past. Other than that paraffin, petrol etc. I always find it useful when people fill their cars up with the wrong fuel to keep what you drain out for this very purpose

Yes as said petrol is the easiest - just don't smoke whilst you're doing it

I thought water would rust the valve springs? maby im wrong then.

Also - to clean the heads of the cylinder/valves just use a wire brush? or use scouring pad?
