back on the rollers today for the running in map, 1st problem was it melted the top of the dipstick  then got an interference problem on the crank sensor i think as i loose rpm signal at 5k (ive heard of people having problems with the later unsheilded sensor with aftermarket ECU's)
so it was mapped at wastgate pressure up to 5k and ill sort the sensor and run it in then back for more mapping at higher boost and up to 7.5k rpm
the good side is at 10psi and only reving to 5k it made 150bhp@wheels and was coming on full boost by 3k

loving this mate, full bost by 3k? thats fucking good on that turbo! youll not need a high ev limit then
probs due to how close the turbo is the the exhaust ports..getting full velocity of exhaust gas to the turbo

yes the turbo was speced specially for my engine/cam combination and im limited on rev limit as i have a roller rocker engine
it also has the option to make it flow over 400bhp but will come on boost 500rpm later but looking at how it did today ill prob stay with it as it is (plus ive always got the nos to go yet)
i just cant wait to drive it now

tbh martin.. 25psi on your engine in an AX should be quick enough without the NOS...theres only soo much you cna use!! lol
cant wait to see some graphs and videos
and of course what it puts a 1/4 mile in

unfortunatly for a graph ill have to get a power run at another RR as the printer part is fucked on my mappers RR
the 1/4 mile is what im interested in though

well last weekend was the AXOC euro trip to the citroen factory in paris
and aswell as planning on taking mine i had to finish another ax gti turbo aswell, well they both made it there and back without any problems (well a snapped spedo cable on the gti and a mini hitler not wanting to let me on the train with the nos bottle)
after a bit of a detour its safe to say its now run in so will be off for final mapping next week, the boost is only set to 8 psi and not 10 as i 1st thought and it doesnt come on song till 4k (which only reving to 5.5k was crap  ) but should be good once mapped

nope its got a bling halfrauds tailpipe trim on that doesnt get hot
but as i said i could only rev to 5.5k so was maxed at 100mph and was loosing to everything

yeah....may find that once the boost and rev limit is up......and you get some proper heat through that screamer, the halfords bling melts lol
looks mint as per though martin, i really do stand by my quote, if you EVER even think about selling this, phone ME first, if it requires an bank loan them so be it

small update, not had chance to have the full boost map done yet but made the annual trip to north wales with the AXOC before shes taken off the road till march
did manage to get the new seats fitted

cheers mate
its mapped for 8psi (lowest setting on the wastegate) just need the time to get back on the rollers and map to 25psi
it made 200bhp @ 8 though

still not mapped fully but i thought with it being off the road id play with the gear ratios
