Default Simple guide to fit a S1 rallye inlet and t/b onto a vtr

Here's a quick guide which goes over all the connections that were required to fit the inlet onto my vtr (and it all worked fine).

The idle control value stay's on the left of the inlet and can be connected like so:

This is how i connected the map sensor up, some silicone and a screw held it in place with no air leaks:

The ecu breather pipe needs to be connected up and can be done like so:

The blue plug on the bottom of the throttle body connects to a grey plug (the grey plug has two green wires going into it):

The yellow plug on top of the throttle body connects to a black plug (the black plug has a yellow and brown wire going into it):

The throttle sensor with 3 wires (black, black/yellow, black/red) connects to the black plug with 3 wires (grey, brown, grey) and has to be connected like so:

black wire to A
black/yellow wire to B
black/red wire to C

A pipe from the bottom right of the inlet needs to be connected to the brake reservoir:

Last of all...connect up the throttle cable and enjoy! (a 106 throttle cable will need to be used as the throttle opens the opposite way and the vtr one is too short)

mine ran perfect...idle was fine and noise was lovely, the actual inlet itself is like 3 times bigger than the vtr one and its made out of aluminium which gives it that nice throaty note

with it on you notice a slight power increase, the real gains are made once a remap is done (which i never got around to do)

i'd only do it if fitting certain cams.. the standard VTR inlet manifold just doesn't cut it

well the exit of the inlet manifold were the hosing joins on has more of an angle on it so you may need to reposition that slightly
