can any one help:
ok so the garage where my car is at is advising me to put original manifold with cat back on, i havent got this as it got chucked because it was broken anyway that was the reason to get the racleand.
so they are now advising me to whelf a nut to the manifold and screw the lamber into the racland on the last bit just before the second lamber,
well i have been thinking about this and wont the engine light be continually on due to no cat on?
help me and rep given cheers

the first lambda that should be in your raceland is the one that should read dirty fumes. Which it does.
The second sensor, should be reading the clean air after the cat has done it's job. So like you said it would read dirty air when it should read clean air on the second sensor.
Why are they telling you to put the standard one back on?
But yes it should be on if you did as the garage said to do.

God thats alot of hastly youv went through m8! Surely by now i would have thought that a garage could have given you an answer? Would love to help m8 but the only plodable thing i can think of is the sensor, thats what it sounds like to me!
