How To Guide Forum
I dont think this has been suggested but i have noticed that many 'how to guides' are always being requested and people not searching. So i was thinking that we could have a forum bit for "HOW TO GUIDES" (e.g. smoking lights, wiring angel eyes, etc).
This is so that people will find them easy without starting new threads asking about them without searching. I myself have difficulty searching for them.

Or put some sticky's in the relevant sections...
Engine/Performance could have - How to change filters, oil, manifolds etc
Styling & Interior - How to change seats, dash, smoke lights etc
ICE - How to fit headunits, wire subs, blah blah bla

well i did think that but then i though well . . . some people may not know what section it is in etc. So having a seperate forum bit would avoid confusion

Mmmm, its better kept in its individual sections i think. Otherwise you will be pouring over pages of 'how to's to find the one you need.
What you really need are better thread naming conventions and more keywords being used in the guide threads.
e.g. the thread title could be:
How To: wire angel eyes
and even on the first line of the thread the author could have a line like:
Keywords: howto guide help angel eyes eye headlight wiring wire mk2 mkII halos halo
etc to help the guide reach anyone who is searching for it

I am not a premium member either, i mean the How-to-Guides which are made by follow members.
Like, for example, retrimming, wiring, spraying, etc.
I appreciate some How-to-Guides are the benefits of having Premium Membership and I dont want to change that.

There is a new articles section being developed, which will sort this out nicely.
Should have been launched 2 weeks ago, but things are a little busy.
