What is the Bassface sub like as in the link below:-
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bass-Face-...163821&afsrc=1
There is someone selling one v local to me secondhand and the RMS figure seems decent.

Very good reviews on Amazon (all rated 5 out of 5) for this brand on the following link including a review from Citroen Saxo owner (3rd review down)
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bass-Face-PO.../dp/B00B49L2MQ
Seems like it does the same job as the more expensive brands

I'm only going by owner reviews plus members on here may have a change of mind if they get a chance to have a listen to some of the lesser known brands.
Some of the lesser known brands could possibly be made by the same company but just under a different name for the product in order to increase market share.

This is all you are buying when you buy cheap stuff like this. Noise, not bass.

Well get it no one's stopping you. I'm just giving you my advice and that is this will be very poor, there's no justifying it. It won't be made by a decent company.
It doesn't even give you any sort of specs apart from Max. power of 2600w and an RMS of 1300w which is completely lol worthy to be honest. Doesn't even tell you what the amp is kicking out (not that it would be a true figure anyway) or ohms.
Have a read through this on TalkAudio
Surprise, surprise.....the first post reads:

Haven't got much time to write a big essay, but steer clear of that un named crap!
If your on a tight budget which it seems, look second hand for JBL or alpine kind of stuff

I got a 10 inch JBL and it sounds nice, can crank it right up and get no distortion what so ever.

Wiring in a sub is fairly simple, it took me and my mate 2 hours from just looking on the back of the wiring box as it showed a helpful diagram, we are 16/17 and was a doddle, good luck though mate

If you haven't bought anything yet heres another vote to avoid fli, vibe and crap like that. Go for JBL it is by far the best cheap audio gear for cars. This will sound much better and louder http://caraudiosecurity.com/jbl-gto-12-bass-reflex-deal

Whether the amp is built in or separate, you still have to wire it in the exact same way. The built in amps aren't any easier to intall.

Well, they are in the sense you dont have to find somewhere to put them but thats it.
From all i've heard, get a 'proper' amp as generally speaking the built in ones are tosh.
