the amp is 4 channel, so 2 channels for the sub, and 2 for the components

Defo make sure they fit, there is a few threads on here about people instaling front door speakers and the windows rub with the back of the speaker...

comps fit.. there not a straight fit, simply because theyre a component

woofer screws straight in. tweeter needs to be mounted as does the crossover..

all the wires are included, thats everything you need to wire up the whole system

where do people usually mount the tweeter? seen most on doorcards but seen someone put them on the back of the wing mirror covers. is there any gain from putting them in either place or is just if their above the woofer on the same plain then they will sound ok?

They usually come with two mountig pods, one so you can flush mount them and one to have them sticking out like in the photo.

i mounted my tweeters on my doorcard mate and they sound great, look less "cluttered" than on the mirror plate aswell:

Can recommend that JBL Bandpass Sub as being alot of bass for your money, I power mine off the GTO 1004e, not met anyone local to match it yet in terms of volume. Its not the best for sound quality but what more can you expect for that price.
Also have you considered putting your tweeters in the bottom of the side air vents, I did mine about a week ago. Stops them being on show from the outside of the car because of the way the grills are positioned.

I have now purchased the headunit which was suggested and it seems to work great, i will be purchasing the amp, sub and components very soon but was wondering if the amp has a remote turn on thing?

it should do ye, with your wiring kit you should have a blue lead, this is the remote lead that you run from the HU to the amp

Ariel is the last question i should have and that is the HU which was recommened seems to have a different connection for the ariel connection, do i need to purchase some type of converter? the headunit seems to have a female connection and the ariel in the car is also femail with a small part in side of it.
