i would like to know the answer to this as i have the same problem, mine also whines a little bit more when i rev the engine

you need to buy a interfernce supressor from halfords less than a 5 dollar bill

is another name for the supressor a ground loop isolator, if so i have tried it and it doesnt work it makes it worse?

hi mate i had the same problem if you have a rca cable going from one amp to another amp the wire may be faulty. this is what happened to me hope that helps

the whinning noise is created when your amp(s) are picking up another electrical frequency the most common suspect is the altenator then followed buy the pas pump.

if you have the rca cable and power cable running down the same side of the car this can cause your amps to pick up the frequency, try running the power cable down the drivers side and the rca cable down the passenger side (or vise-versa) if this doesnt work then you'll need a supressor theyre only small and about £3 but they do the job

wher do you fit it? wire it up? my sub makes a long hmmmm noise and then stops and then goes hmmm again woundered f this will stop it? also i can hear the cd spinning asif it was coming from the sub?
