Default Mk1 vtr sump fit mk2 vtr?

I'm unsure on this, does the mk1 vtr sump fit the mk2 vtr?

I'm unsure hence why asking, my sumps coming off at somepoint, but it's so I can save myself welding my oil return hole on the mk2 sump (as the mk1 has it already)

thats what my thoughts were alex, ive not had an 8v scince 4 years ago roughly, always had 16v, but knew that the vts sumps were identicle, just a spare hole on some for oil temp sender or something alike

well.. guess ill give it a go, unless someones 100% sure
