This is funny, but... I have one of their 250/1 amps running 2 x Kicker solo baric L5's @ i think 600wrms each. I dont see the need for a bigger amp, it enough to hurt my ears as it stands, and thats enough.

yeah ive always thought Rockford Fosgate are up there with one of the best brands you can get when it come to audio?? but then they are less powerful than the JL.. i dont know

No one said the Rockford was bad or poor.
IMO JL edges Rockford.
Power doesnt mean better or worse, look at the loudest.com shite if you want "numbers" that mean nowt.
JL were always known for quality, possibly not the loudest but known for keeping it tight when properly used.

I've only ever heard glowing reports on the Rockford stuff before - Never ever heard anyone slate them!
I was contemplating getting a set of their components with an amp, but i'm too lazy.

I Always used to run a RF amp with a JL sub
JL subs are extremely good quality and have never disappointed me.
