this car would be stupidly close to the ground on any smaller wheels i think. Would probably have trouble with vtr wheels lol
davo's looked mint on them starmags, i still think he shouldve kept them.
|
+1 Davo's was sex on wheels, one of the best stanced saxo's i've seen.
Car looks wicked man, I'd say buy some different wheels for the summer, 14" maybe 15"?

thanks, yours is one of the reasons i wanted mine to be lower at the front
im sure your car looks much lower than any other saxo lowered '60mm'
|
That's because my springs are about 6 years old, When citroen used to sell proper 60mm springs in house. You'd be hard pushed to find true 60mm these days.

im using gaz gha shocks up front, and im still using spax shocks at the rear.
The gaz shocks are alright, i like how you can adjust the firmness on them. Not really sure how else to describe them really as i never really push my car to the limits around corners etc. only ever drive around town lol

just start with the simple things like lowering a small amount, changing seats and wheels etc. mk1 saxo's are quite good looking cars in standard form in my opinion.

lol it is a never ending battle with scraping your vt kit and exhaust off everything lol
last night i got stuck on a bump into a restaurant carpark, so everyone had to get out my car. The bottom of the front vt arches were still wedged onto this bump though
if you can be bothered to bare through the potential problems then id say go for it!
also developed a noise from a track rod end recently so ive ordered a new one of them. (it is the original track rod end on the 13 year old car though so about time its started to wear out)

Hmmmmm does sound like it has its drawbacks lol.
Looks fucking epic though!! Perhaps just make it silly low for shows, meets and pictures then wind them up for day to day....Would be a bit of a faf doing that all the time but I think would be worth the effort!
Orr just dont let people in the car is another option i guess
