Long exposure. As said above, your best bet is to Google light trails. I have better efforts though:

Never really been a fan of light trails, guess its because every noob as soon as they get a camera posts 500 photos from ontop of a motorway so I've seen it so many times.
If you are doing more painting with light stuff chip you may have fun putting different gels on the flash.

Tbh dude i haven't been out with the camera much lately. But it's something i intend to experiment with. I'll have to try that out with the gels
I agree on the motorway scene though. It isn't the most inventive way to do them...
To keep picture's going i'll post this from Monday. It's not a great shot but lol at how tall the Mini is next to the admirer!

I've returned south for a couple of days, and had this waiting for me on arrival
I sold my sigma 10 - 20mm, and canon 50mm to fund this bargain I saw on ebay.
Also used it as a good chance to piss about some more with my speedlites.

Something im working on. Sensor is filthy as fuck and ive not cloned it all yet. But I quite like the WIP.
For the tech geeks the lighting tested my Rangers power shooting them at full blast into the sun.

Sweet shot ry! whats it for? any brand advert or something like that.
I headed down to summer league last night, our team wasn't playing, so I managed to get a couple of shots of a few mates playing. I'm going to shoot a couple more games when off the court and put the photos up in one go, but for now - here is a couple of them:
I also got a shot in of the teams warming up in one of the other games last night using the fisheye:
I'd done a little reading up on tips etc for shooting, but it's the first time i've done anything like this! luckily the lights in our sports hall (where all summer league games are played) are pretty good, so I was able to shoot at ISO 400 / 800 with a fairly quick shutter speed at still be around F2.8 - F4
Still tonnes of room for improvement, but for my first attempt at a sporting event, i'm pretty happy.

This one wasn't a commercial project ash. Just a shoot of the 3 daughters for their mums birthday present.
May have a gap in the market here I'm looking into though as its head to head with those shitty cliche studios lke double take.

Couple I was happy with of my Mazda.
MX5 by titchster, on Flickr
This was pretty underexposed when I pulled it off the camera, quite happy with how it came out.

This was about an hour before those, I got soaked when the rain appeared from nowhere, and I had the roof down...
