Da results can be good - but you do ironically need more effort than with a rotary.

Right so in the end I just bought a cheap silverline rotary from toolstation for £40

http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Powe.../sd3309/p84532

Now just need some ideas on what polish and pads to go for. I've always liked menzerna for hand polishing so how about this:

http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/polish.../prod_221.html

http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/polish.../prod_228.html

http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/polish.../prod_223.html

And then these pads:

http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/machin...prod_1042.html

http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/machin...prod_1043.html

Or has any one got any other suggestions?

That looks awesome, inspired me to got for one i think. Am I right in thinking you go over three times using the three different pads and polishes? Thanks

That was one go with a medium pad and PO203S Menzerna polish once Id done that, switched to a softer pad and polish. Waxed it and the whole car looked like the right half of the picture.

They rebranded their products recently, I think the PF2300 is nearest to Po203s
