laptop problem
a few of u might know i bought a laptop last week as my old laptop is on its last legs, but today i had a accident with my old laptop and it is not completly shagged dropped it and the motherboard snapped at the back where the cables plug in so it wont power up. How can i get the data off the hard disk, i can take the hard disk out of the laptop but how can i connect it to my new laptop to get the data off? someone said i might be able to connect it to a usb hard drive caddy thing or something????

Cheaper to just buy an IDE to USB cable and power cable... Its like a caddy without the caddy bit lol! It can be used to plug any dvd or hdd drive. You can pick them up very cheap!

yeah it does exactly what it says on the tin
Either that or buy one of these - CLICKY That's just an example, there are cheaper ones out there! They take both laptop and desktop hdd's
