Default xbox unlock guides
anyone able to help me unlock my drive? i have two xbox's, i have a hitachi drive, or i have erm another one which has a white front on it :/

alternatively can anyone unlock the hitachi drive for me tonight? i have it out already

what do you mean unlock it? Does it only play DVDs just now? If so, you need the original drive to extract the drive key from - the mobo and drive have paired keys (alphanumeric codes), and if they dont match the xbox will play only DVDs.

If you mean reflashing to play backups, check out the above site.

If youre near Glasgow I can do it for you.
