Default DIRENZA Radiator

Does anyone on here use a Direnza raditor? I was looking at upgrading the cooling and these popped up, so looking for some back on them.

Cheers
Andy

no need for them really, you can use a xsi ac rad if you really want more capacity with the integrated expansion tank.

The c2 rally cars used saxo/106 diesel rads with engines under far more stress than yours.

It looks much nicer though if you want the engine bay to look as good as it goes.

well the car is pushing 230bhp, so jut want to make sure the cooling is sufficient and the direnza rad is a straight swap.

Its a big enough radiator with much better cooling than the original and you can always box out the radiator more to improve airflow efficiency.

Drop me a line if you want one

And the hoses?

The Direnza radiator does not have the same inlet and outlet as the OEM one... That is my doubt to buy it...

kam should be able to say about hoses --but his picture seems shows clip on connections
and also angle of outlet look wrong for saxo --maybe a generic picture ?

this is the radtec one -- direct swop for any 16v sxao/106--but not same price

I am talking about this model:
https://www.kamracing.co.uk/car-tuni...-radiator.html

The outlet, as axsaxoman says, has a different angle. The OEM one has the outlet at the bottom of that side.

buy that and you also need a header tank + cap and then hosing to join them
2 hoses--one at top of header tank to top of rad and one joined in bottom hose or bottom of rad to bottom of header tank or it will air lock
and by looks of it won,t fit on std rad mounts either
nothing like a direct replacement
