jp4 is a newer 1.6 16v engine, so can generally be found with less miles.

well i got the engine for £150 rebuild parts cost around £400 and i did all the work my self so £550 not that bad dono how much a recon engine would have been but this way it kept me ocupied plus and i can still say all the work on the car was done by myself lol just wish i had taken more pics along the way.

As for future plans its booked in to body shop for feb get rid of all the little dints and scrapes and was thinking of going metalic black but not decided yet.
I`m looking into tb`s now as the engines run in finaly and am thinking thats the way to go as i use the car every day for work.
I could also do with stronger diff so looking inot that aswell but with all the snow we have been getting i`m putting off doing anythink as i dont fancy lying on my back in the snow and ice
