Turn my xbox on to the dashboard

the screen goes funny and all messed up
turn it off after that

3 red lights
error 74
graphics card gone

bada bing bada boom.

E74? My brother's had that, we reballed the solder joints in the oven and did the xclamp mod. Would work for 3 weeks before needing the above done again.

He just bought a new one in the end.

My mate fixed mine for me, and flashed it Cost about £45 quid and it works perfect upto yet, had it back for about 3 weeks and its not had any trouble, free repair if it breaks again too.

over heat it for a quick fix or just do the x clamp thing OR pay for extra fans or desent fans with the right rpm

Took it all apart the other night. let it all cool out. put it back together and turned it on before i went to bed and it worked haha dont know how it worked but i aint complaining haha . last time i sent it off when it broke before it took 2 months to get to Germany and back. so they gave me 2 month free xbox live

i sent mine off and had it back a week later, also got 2 months gold live free, think its a common thing they do when returning fixed consoles.
