Hi my beam on my car is knackerd and when my other one goes on i was thinking of putting uprated bushes in as the ones with it are split.

Im not that clued up on uprated bushes so any advice/experience with differnt types would be good

Alloy just adds to the cost. Nylon materials work and are cheaper usually.
We sell the Baker BM solid mounts. Been using them for years myself and not had any problems.

I used both alloy + nylon solid bushs in my ax rac car ALONG TIME AGO
W what seems to be missing on all the ones shown is a spacer washer to go above the axle which goes over the part of the bush that sticks out above the axle mounitng bracket
if you don,t have this then it ispossible for the axle to move upwards as there is no actual compression of the axle to the body .
you are relying on the bushs being a very tight fit and staying that way --
I have to say that for track use getting rid of the "rear steer " which is designed in to the std "void bushs " was no apprent advantage to handling ,but i can see why with old "soggy" bushs you might want to change them

I have the baker BM ones, I've yet to drive on them, but they were a bitch to put in

possibly because I'm useless!

this is why i said mine need custom fitting im going to remove the beam (actually refurbing with new pins) and turn each bush to suit each hole in the beam as a press fit

this should keep the beam in the right spot

a spacer bush on the top side takes any doubt away ,its just the right way to do it
if you intention is to go solid mounting ,and also spreads the load into the chassis better
