Getting a few bits sorted before the next drift day 30th November.
Picking up a new rear light because i smashed mine.
Also picking up 7mm rack spacers and we're going to de-power the steering rack the bodge it way by looping the lines.
Then just need to get the toe adjusted and i'm good to go.
Hopefully i'll notice a big difference at Lydden.

Done a fair bit yesterday.
Got rid of all the power steering and looped the lines.
Fitted 7mm rack spacers, pic below of the slightly improved lock.
Removed both front tow eyes and fitted a Jass tow hook, fucked off the front plate again also.
Fitted a different splitter.
Fitted a rear tow strap so they can actually pull me out of the gravel properly now.
I also have my side skirts painted and will whack them on next weekend.
I will have some photos of the full car by the end of this month from Lydden's last drift day this year.

Few pictures from Lydden, car drove well even with the worlds shittest alignment lol.
Not really a massive amount going on with this car over winter, while i'm sorting the Saxo out.
I'll get some photos of it on all the correct wheels at the weekend, looks a bit strange with skid wheels on the rear ha.

Grant, don't suppose you kept the baby teeth did you?
I could do with the right hand side one for my offset plate.

Cheers man, i'm going to lower the front back down at the weekend, still have it sitting a bit higher from my Wales trip.
Will get some photos this weekend after doing that.

Awesome sideways action Miller!
How you finding it without power steering, made me want to remove mine since mine felt very slow during this:

No problem Grant they'll be a few quid on eBay.
Aly, I've owned one without PAS and one with. I find the PAS version better to live with day to day but for the hooligan stuff a manual rack was far nicer.

Nice going Aly! Yeah much prefer drifting it without power steering. Road driving is obviously a bit harder work.
Now relating to Tom, I actually have a de-powered rack, as the standard manual racks have more turns lock to lock, which people generally hate for drifting, so although the proper manual rack will be a lot easier to live with, it won't feel the same.
Main reason i de-powered mine is because everytime you drift it, open the engine bay and there is power steering fluid everywhere. Add rack spacers to the mix and you're probably gonna blow the rack up. Plus the steering now self centres like a boss in comparison to PAS, even with my lack of caster due to bent streeto subframe lol.

If anyone is interested, me and a few good mates have had a little drift crew going on for some time now, so thought i'd make up a Facebook page.
We post photos of ourselves, other drift related content and ladies.

Ok so took the time to take some actual photos of the whole car with all the proper wheels on lol.. Also lowered the front back down to it's pre-wales road trip height.
